Concord FC Announces the return of Dunkirk/Fredonia home games

Dear Soccer Families,

NCSA/Concord FC has exciting news to report!  The Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer League has agreed to allow Spring Concord FC to have home games return to the Dunkirk/Fredonia area next year!  They do have one condition: “If we run into a situation where a Concord team is playing teams in Niagara County, we will attempt to find a neutral field in Southern Erie County for games.  Basically, we would like to keep travel times no longer than one hour,”

Concord FC would like to extend our appreciation to all our soccer families!  You all have been very patient while NCSA/Concord FC goes through changes.  These changes have always had player development and the growth of our organization at the forefront.  We would also like to thank the many volunteers, coaches and administrators, who have dedicated many hours to NCSA/Concord FC.  These volunteers have so much passion to provide the best soccer program possible.

NCSA/Concord FC Announces 2019 Spring Travel Try-Outs

IMG_6562 coverConcord FC will be holding try-outs for our upcoming 2019 Spring travel season at the dates, times, and location listed below.  As per the Concord FC Handbook:

Travel team players are required to attend “try-outs” to be evaluated. “Try-outs” is a comprehensive evaluation system to assist coaches in placing the child on a team appropriately.   Note, a child must attend at least one try-out to be considered for a CFC Travel team.  The tryout process will be conducted by the Director of Coaching and the team coaches who will evaluate players based on several factors such as, but not limited to, ability, attendance, punctuality, attitude, effort, behavior, social skills, emotional control, physical maturity, and focus.

IMPORTANT: Concord FC has petitioned the Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer League Board for them to reconsider the conditions placed on our club to play all away games.  We have requested that home games in the Dunkirk/Fredonia area be reinstated.  Even though this decision is still in question and it is unknown when it will be made,  we encourage any child that has any desire to possibly play for Concord FC in the 2019 Spring Travel season attend try-outs as it is required for travel team placement.  There is no cost to attend this.  Any player that is not a member of our club, will be required to register here.  You must register by August 1, 2018.  All current spring players are required to attend with their current teams, but do not need to register.

Registration for the 2019 Spring Season is expected to open in November 2018.  Players will be notified by their coach if they are being invited to their respective teams.  Please read through CFC Newsletters here for additional information.
